The interpretive trail of the Grotte de la Salamandre

The Grotte de la Salamandre is located in a Sensitive Natural Area and Natura 2000 zone. In order to limit the impact of tourist visits on this fragile environment, cars have been left out and it is a 700 meters beautiful hiking trail that connects the parking area to the Grotte. This parking area, left as natural as possible, marks the beginning of your experience of discovering the Grotte de la Salamandre.

Taking the path leading to the Grotte, you will find signs along the way that will give you information about the environment you are going through, the flora, the fauna and a little further, rocks and caves. Upon return, these panels will ask you in a fun way questions about the topics that have been addressed by your guide during the visit of the cave.
